Submitting a recruitment request and obtaining approval.
We should now have a request to hire form we can complete for our HR Officer positions.
Begin to fill out the form, your form could look different depending on what fields you have chosen to use. But every form should have the engagement field and the Start / End / Effective Date field.
Now we can assign our approvers, your approval workflow will most likely look and behave differently depending on your set up.
Once our approvers have been assigned we can submit our Request to Hire form for approval. Assign yourself as the approver while testing.
We should now have one job that is in the pending approval status.
An approver can open the job from the link the email they receive or directly in Martian Logic which is what this example will demonstrate.
Click back on the HR Officer job to approve it.
Approvers can optionally leave comments and then either approve or reject the request to hire form.
If a request to hire is approved, it will move to the next person in the approval workflow.
If a request to hire is rejected the person who submitted the request to hire will be notified and they will be able to re-raise the request if they wish.
When the job has been approved, its status will change to approved.
It’s at this point a recruiter would receive a notification to complete the approval and design and post their advert.
The approver will need to open the job and click approve to unlock the design and posting tabs.
