Schedule Interview

Scheduling an interview with an applicant.

When you are ready to schedule interview(s) with applicants this can be accomplished from within their profile. Click on the Progress button and select the interview stage. In the example below there are 2 stages for interview named 1st Interview and 2nd Interview. Both stages function the same way.

There two tabs for scheduling an interview with a candidate. The calendar initiation tab which will create the event on your calendar and the candidate’s calendar. Then the confirmation email which confirms information from the event invite like the start date, start time, location, etc.

On this tab you can:

  1. Set the event title
  2. Set the event description
  3. Set the event location if it’s a physical location. For zoom meetings you can check the ‘Also add a zoom link to this meeting checkbox’ at the top of the screenshot below. You can also paste meeting link directly into the event location field for Teams, Google Meet, etc.
  4. Set the Start/End Date & Start/End Time for the event
  5. Will let you add other users in Martian Logic to the event invite, start typing their name in search users to find them.
  6. Will let you invite non Martian Logic users to the event you need to enter their email addresses separated by a comma. test@test.com,example@example.com

 

When you have finished setting up your event scroll to the bottom of the screen to send it.

When the invite has been sent successfully you will see an entry in the candidate’s timeline.

You can also see a record of it in the activities tab for the candidate.

Confirmation Email

On this tab you can:

  1. Choose your email template
  2. Set the reply to
  3. CC other Martian Logic users
  4. Change the subject line
  5. Edit the body of the email

Scroll to the top of the confirmation email tab to send the confirmation email.

You can send it or preview it from here. If you click preview Martian Logic will show you a preview of the confirmation email, it’s typical for tags like interview start date, interview start time, interview location etc. To be used in these emails templates, the preview button will show what information those tags will insert.

If you’re ready click the send the confirmation email.

You will see a record of the confirmation email in the candidate’s timeline. You can click on view to open the email in Martian Logic if you wish.

Interview Integrations

You can optionally integrate Martian Logic’s interview scheduling feature with your Google or Outlook Calendar as well as Zoom if you use it.

Click on the add an integration button to set up an integration.

Google and Outlook

Integrating with Google or Outlook will directly add the event invites you create in Martian Logic to your calendar of choice, negating the need to accept the calendar invitation. Simply click the integrate button to get started.

Zoom

You can also integrate your zoom account which will allow you to insert Zoom meeting links into the event invites you create. Simply click the integrate button to get started.
