How to create E-forms and summary of different fields you can use.
You can create new pages by clicking the new page button as shown below.
Then go to 'Form' and 'Create New Form'
Enter the name of the form
Here you can create a new question or browse through the library for questions you have already made.
Creating New Questions
Click New Question to add a new question to the form.
You should only create new unique questions when you cannot find a suitable field in the library already. If you click on 'New Question' you can then provide the name of the question and set its type.
There is a range of different field types in Martian Logic, this document will detail some of the most commonly used field types.
Key Field Types
- Dropdown – Single Choice Drop Down Box
- Dropdown Multiple Choice – Multiple Choice Dropdown Box
- Text – Single Line Free Text Entry
- Text Comment – Multi Line Free Text Entry
- Date – Date Picker
- Label – Used to add information/links/content to the forms
- Check Box – Can be used for declarations
- File Upload – Upload 1 or many files
- Compliance Document – Upload 1 Document and an expiry date which can be used to set up reminders
When you’ve finished creating your questions click save to add it to the form.
When you’ve saved your question it will be added to the form. You can click preview to see exactly how it will look for candidates/employees.
Adding Fields from The Library
If you have created a question in the past that you need to reuse you can select it from the field library.
Search for the question/s you require and click on them to highlight them. When finished click add selected to form and the questions will be added to the form in the order you selected them in.
We should now see the questions we have selected on the form.
How To Create E-Forms Extra Information
You can create new pages by clicking the new page button as shown below.
Give the page a name and press enter.
You can also rename pages by clicking on the page title button as shown below.
When you’ve finished creating your e-form you can click the preview button to see exactly how it will look for the candidates/employees when they are completing it.
Then finally if you’re happy with your form click Make Live.
We should now be able to see our new live e-form in the content manager.
Only live forms can be sent to candidates/employees.
When a e-form is live you cannot modify it. You need to duplicate it to get a draft version which you can then edit.
Click the duplicate button to get a draft copy of a form.
